GOOD BUT STRANGE 🤔 NCB Mechanical replaced a bad main water shutoff valve seen in the attached images. NBC was prompt and professional as a company with this repair. The repair appears to be done well but the choice to completely recess the valve and its lever in the wall cavity effectively behind the drywall is a bit of an odd if not impractical choice made by the technician. Good work and a bit strange at the same time.

Had a very good experience with NCB Mechanical. Had a water leak under the concrete slab somewhere. They told me that it was not worth fixing it since the house had the old poly pipe. They gave me a bid to recpipe the whole house. The price was very reasonable. The crew was very professional and they all worked good together. It took only 10 days to complete the job. I was very impressed for a young crew, they new what to do. I will be using NCB for any plumbing issues that come up. Thank Robert

Posting an unequivocal recommendation for NCB for their work at my home this week. I called around 6AM Monday morning due to a broken water heater. NCB delivered with a same-day appointment and were able to install a new water heater, remove the old heater, and bring my setup into code with the (required) installation of new pipe fittings, natural gas safety mechanisms, earthquake straps, and a water pan. The crew that came to my home -- beginning with Cesar, then joined by Miguel, Ryan, and Dominic -- were polite, professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and respectful. They answered my questions cheerfully, shared insights about my piping system in my garage, and made several well-informed recommendations about other work I could do to optimize my water system -- WITHOUT pressuring me to do the work with them or to upsell me on the spot. Finally, the job was expensive (~$1,300 for replacement job including parts and labor, but excluding the water heater, which I went and bought myself before they arrived) (but ask about military discounts!). But after speaking with a couple of people who had the same work done, this is in the heartland of pricing. Well worth it to have the work done quickly, done well, and done on the same day I called to get my house back online. Much appreciated, NCB!

Unexpected need of plumber after returning home after being gone for 2 months-no hot water! Called NCB before 8:00 on Tuesday & had a plumber at our house about 9:30. Bad news, water heater was done! Daniel & Miguel were Johnny on the spot arranging to replace the water heater that afternoon! Efficiency & expert professionalism, they returned by 1:30 & had the new heater in place & up to code by 3:00!!!! Not only were they knowledgeable, they were very polite, organized while working together well & communicated what steps were necessary. We're extremely pleased with their work & their quick response! Thank you!

My poor old furnace died in the cold of January and NCB was able to send out technicians the next day. Daniel and Cesar were able to diagnose the issue with my old furnace within 10 minutes and offer a repair or replacement with no pressure tactics. Went with the replacement and they were able to install it the same day! They were cordial, efficient and thorough and now I have heat again. Grateful for NCB and their two great techs.

My furnace went out this past week in the midst of the cold front. I had gotten an expensive quote from another company and felt defeated that I wouldn’t be able to get it fixed. I called NCB Mechanical and they were AMAZING! Jeff was respectful, very knowledgeable, and had a more affordable quote sent to me within a few hours. He was able to schedule to have his team come out the next day, so I wouldn’t be stuck without heat. Oscar and Eric installed the new equipment quick and without any issues! I’m very happy with this company and my outcome!

When my old boiler went out, they gave good advice with a can-do, work-with-you attitude about whether to repair or replace. We ended up replacing with a sophisticated energy-efficient unit.
